The World’s Tallest Rollercoaster

Coming to Orlando in 2017

There is a lot going on in Orlando this year, from the new attractions at I-Drive 360 to the highly anticipated King Kong and Avatar rides opening up at Universal Studios. Surprisingly, the addition that I am most excited about is the world’s largest Perkins. The current Perkins Restaurant & Bakery will be demolished and a new and improved 10,000-square-foot upgrade will be its replacement. Though I do love some Perkins-style eggs benedict, it’s really what’s going to accompany the new 300-seat restaurant that gets me pumped – the world’s first Polercoaster, Skyfall.

The SKYPLEX indoor entertainment complex will feature a 570-foot tower, The Skyscraper, with the 450-foot drop ride, Skyfall. Set to open in 2017, this vertical roller coaster is going to be the tallest structure in Central Florida, with the tallest roller-coaster in the world, adjacent to the largest Perkin’s in creation.
